At L & G Roberts, we have a proud and distinguished history of supplying fresh, prime quality fish and shellfish. We either buy locally and seasonally, where we can, from the East Anglian inshore fisheries or source sustainably and responsibly-caught products from trusted suppliers, from Peterhead to Newlyn. With efficient overnight transport meaning that we can obtain the freshest seafood from all over the country, anywhere in the UK is local, whether it’s hake from Cornwall, cod from Shetland or crab from Cromer. Traceability is also extremely important to us and we maintain close personal contact with many fishing vessels and their skippers.
We supply both wholesale and retail clients and are renowned for satisfying the fish and shellfish requirements for many local pubs, hotels and restaurants. We regularly dispatch our fish to London too, for its vibrant and eclectic restaurant scene. Local customers can also walk in to our premises at Lowestoft Fish Quay and pick up or order just what they want; we always have a tempting range of fresh and frozen fish and shellfish available. Trade customers are welcome to visit any time too, or we can arrange a tour of our boat, moored on the pontoon in Lowestoft harbour.
